Asuman Tepe studied watercolours in high school in Erzincan, her home town.
In addition to her individual exhibitions, the first of which she opened in 2013, Asuman has participated in various collective exhibitions with her colleagues at Ankara Women Artists Society.
Asuman uses a unique wet-on-dry watercolour technique, which allows her to paint even the smallest details in a way that makes them clearly visible, resulting in astonishingly detailed pictures. She is mainly inspired by nature, landscapes and traditional village life.
Asuman lives in Ankara with her husband.
