AHMET DALKIRAN
The artist who Graduated from Selcuk University at Fine Arts Education Programme in first place in 2003, finished same universty’s Institute of Social Science Department Of Fine Arts Education master programme in 2006 and Institute of Education Science Department doctorate programme in 2010.
Appointed as a lecturer at Selcuk University Fine Arts Faculty Department of Painting in 2007, as an Assistant Proffesor in 2011 and the artists who associate professor in 2014, continues artistic work as Deputy Head of Department between 2011-2014, as Head of Department in 2014, as Vice Dean and Art Consultant of Rector in 2016. The artist has opened nine solo exhibitions and has participated in national / international numerous combined/group/Project, competitive exhibitions and workshops. In addition, he has HONORABLE MENTION in Erciyes University Painting Contest (2005), SECOND prize in Fırat University Painting Contest (2009), THIRD prize in I.International VoVa MiniArt Biennial (2009), CERTIFICATE of MERIT in II.Baloton Szalon International Small Format Works of Fine Art Biennial (2010) and FIRST prize in II.International VoVa-MiniArt Biennial (2011).
The artist whose works are in museums and in numerous private and public collections at home and abroad, while an artist is performing the Turkish culture, notably its philosophy in an mystic aspect, he conversts the various angles taken from the Anatolian towns an villages where this philosophy is formed into pure forms that captures the heart of nature, after discarding the unnecessary ones from his point of view.
