REMZİ TAŞKIRAN

He was born in 1961 in Adiyaman. He completed his high school education in Istanbul. He studied under Sadettin Caglarca. He created artwork for print media for a certain period of time, and he has his work available in many local and international collections.

While preparing for exhibitions, Taskiran, who spends his days creating paintings at his studio in Istanbul, works on detaching himself from the hassles of daily life and focuses on creating authentic themes for his artwork. Through his traditionally themed impressionistic paintings, it can be observed that they not only portray a detachment from daily struggles, but they are also a representation of the artist's own heart, beliefs, talent and disposition.

Critics see Remzi Taskiran’s inclination to traditional values as his way of capturing an authentic style of painting.
